Car Rental Luzhu District

When you've been to all of the terrific places in Luzhu District, there's more to see in the surrounding region. Grab the keys to a rental car, toss your bags in the trunk and get going. These are some drives we know you'll enjoy:

• You'll find Taichung Park and loads of other interesting attractions in Taichung. From Luzhu District, it's 65 miles away.
• Around 80 miles away, Nantou County is also a hit with wanderers. Be sure to check out Xitou Monster Village while you're in town. It's one of the reasons people love this buzzing city.
• Kenting National Park is located 220 miles from Luzhu District and is one of the region's most spectacular nature spots. Stretch your legs and enjoy the fresh air here.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Taiwan, then you'll likely need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be allowed to rent a car. You should also note that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll need to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card you used to book the rental matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some added requirements for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or older in most places to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of cars you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the rules and regulations before driving away. Usually, you can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or off road with a rental vehicle.
