Once you've been to all of the well-known places in Santa Teresa, there's more to see in the surrounding area. Collect the keys to a rental car, stow your bags in the trunk and hit the open road. We've come up with some drives we know you'll enjoy:

• Pisco is roughly 120 miles from Santa Teresa. Famous tourist attractions like Pisco Plaza de Armas should be high on your list here.
• Next stop? It has to be Chincha Alta, which is around 110 miles away. Plaza de Armas is one local draw card you won't want to miss.
• Visit Paracas National Reservation to reconnect with nature. Take a picnic to enjoy or just chill out in the fresh air. From Santa Teresa, it's approximately 150 miles away.
