I've stayed at other LaQuinta hotels & this was, by far, the best one! It was bright, cheery, and clean. Loved the location. It was a short walk (or bike ride) to the beach! It was on the 'good' side of the highway (meaning we did NOT have to cross the busy highway to get to the beach). I highly recommend this hotel.

This property as I understand it is under new management. They really should ONLY book rooms that are fully repaired so they don't get poor ratings. Staff was very good and tried their best to be helpful. We really should have dropped our booking and went some place else but we were tired and it was late. They really should have comped a reduce rate for all the issues but we were through Expedia so that wasn't an option.

Our room was ok but very Old .. bad patchwork on walls /chipping paint . We thought the TV was broke but in reality everything was unplugged . Hairdryer missing .. Hallways need a bit of attention too . The girl working breakfast did a great job of trying to keep things filled . Also pretty sure that this hotel has people that actually “ live” there .. will be finding an alternative place next time .

Not handicap friendly. Door entrance not wheelchair friendly. Need to have door stoppers to keep door open when bringing in wheelchair. Management has policy about taking extra plate to room, want you to eat in dining area. My husband is in a wheelchair and can’t walk so I felt offended with their policy. Staff did apologize but after the fact. Overall hotel was nice.

The staff when we arrived were great. The room was filthy and not maintained at all. The entire hotel smelled like a dirty hamster cage. The breakfast was ok. The staff at checkout were all busy outside smoking and gossiping. I waited at least 10 minutes at the desk to check out. Definitely not a great place to stay.

Entire building smells of smoke and dirty carpet. The shower drain was clogged and wouldn’t drain the water. They also didn’t have bath towels. Even after requesting towels, the receptionist said they simply didn’t have enough towels to give us. The bed sheets also had holes in them… We requested a refund and went to another hotel for the night.

Kristen at front desk was so nice, helpful, laid back and I'd stay again because of her. Pool was out of order which sucked bc I had 2 little kids who were excited for it!! Key cards don't work well I'd suggest bringing room freshener Very convenient with cracker barrel and moto mart across st, walking distance.
