The room was okay. Just couldn't get over the gnat infestation. Bought insect spray, bothered me more than the gnats. We bought food and drink, the gnats enjoyed more than we did. Notified staff who were very apologetic. Bottom line we had to leave early when we noticed they had even gotten into the mini fridge. Such a shame, our room had a jetted tub that I wish I could have enjoyed.

I saw a lot of bad reviews about this location and I didn't experience any of them. Staff was helpful, room was clean, bed was comfy. It wasn't a five star hotel, nor does it deserve lower than 3. It's older, and worn in some areas. I'd rate between a 3 and 4. Definitely could use remodeling.

The property is kept well enough. However, our room was in the process of being remodeled or repaired. We were told on check-in that our 3rd floor room had not been cleaned yet (at 3:30) and we were asked if we had any considerations for an alternate room. We didn't have any besides foot noise. We were placed on the first floor, near the pool. The room had no valance - it looked like it was taken off the wall. The bathroom ceiling had obvious drywall repairs that were not professionally finished. There was also a slight smell to the room. The room was well temperature-controlled. Luckily, there wasn't a lot of people at the hotel, so the noise was not an issue except for the morning where the person above us was a loud walker. The bed was comfortable. The sheets were clean. I liked the night light in the bathroom. The price for the room was appropriate for the amenities and the area. However, I felt I overpaid for the condition of the room. I prefer to walk into a room and not feel like I walked into a construction project.

The property itself was overall clean, but there are definitely some areas for improvement. There is no hot tub as advertised and half of the lights in the pool area were out. The breakfast left something to be desired, food was not refilled when out, and it was difficult to find someone in the mornings for assistance. We stayed there for 3 nights and didn't see the housekeeping cart one time. We stayed in an accessible room because I have mobility issues but it would be impossible to navigate if I were in a wheelchair. The gentleman who worked afternoons/evenings was very friendly and helpful. Not the best Comfort Suites I have stayed in and not the worst either. Location was perfect for what we needed and the hotel was clean.
