“I booked an accessible room. I then called the front desk and verified the accessibility either first floor or a reliable elevator. I was assured that I was preassigned a first floor room. I was given 206 which was neither accessible or first floor….no grab bars in the bathroom. No movable shower which means one hand on the shower head and the other on the tiny bar at the rear of the shower. I had to call my wife just to wash. Five days with NO maid service. Three times the elevator did not……

“I came across this little motel 10 yrs ago.I loved the vintage feel and the price was right.Owners were so proud of all the work they were doing.Even gave us a mini tour.We booked 2-4 times every summer.He even gave us my favorite room.We hadn’t been traveling the last few summers.I was excited to go back this week.Sadly it had been sold.The manager told us that half the rooms A/C was out.The first night we had A/C but on the way back through we did not.Slept with the windows open but traffic……
