The Worst stay away. Try to not give your credit card while you are booking and make sure you are checking after you are done with your stay for all most two weeks! I still get charges on pending from Omni Resort. This is ridiculous…Without my contest, they are charging in my room… First, they charged me in pool area while i’ve never been in pool…Then, they charged me $200 in store which it shows pending…They gave us free coffe complimentary which it was the last day of our stay and i bought a chocolate and small souvenir which i paid in place…At 18th, we were all in our room while we arrived there late and we had short walk around the spa. We didn’t purchase anything to charge in room!!!! Im super upset specially that no one know whats going on…Today I saw this charge in pending…just be aware what credit card you use and be sure to check the whole bills one by one and try to avoid to charge anything to room!

I was so excited to finally stay at the World Family Omni La Costa that I even splurged for a villa. It was just myself traveling after my daughter had been in the hospital for a week and all I wanted to do was put on a robe, order room service and watch tv… boy did that plan go south fast! First I couldn’t find my room. The signs were poorly marked and I walked up and down the wrong building until I finally called the operator for someone to come save me. I get to the room-WTH was this place made for Giants?! If I wanted to get on the bed I could do a running jump and slide on like a penguin and the bottom shampoo was a full inch above My head. I called an told them I was handicapped and can’t reach up so the sent me little travel shampoos and a step stool. Next went to put on a robe….no robe. Then as an Omni member I’m supposed to get free WiFi-wouldn’t take my info even with the operator giving me all the top secret codes. I tried to order room service but my choices were a page of wine, Some salads, pasta or pizza. I wanted steak or a burger. I called 3 times. No one ever offered to come pick me up and take me to one of the restaurants by golfCart. I called the front desk so many times I think I have to add them to my Christmas card list! To finish up my trip I had to call housekeeping AGAIN because no cups in room. (Why did I get a villa( and then worst was as I par dry with a scratchy old little towel there was NO hair dryer. I couldn’t leave the property fast enough.

The resort is a bit dated and needs some TLC. The parking is challenging with self parking a long distance from the room. The hotel dining room is good but very expensive. The directional signage is also challenging.
