Well they have you sign bunch of papers and you dont understand what he is saying to you since talks so fast and English not first language then take additional $100 from credit card that will be returned. They never returned mine for what reason I have none nor was I sent anything explaining why it wasn't returned. I did nothing but spend the night quietly by myself.
the front desk clerk the gentleman was very nasty and rude..check in time was 3.00 how ever he don't know how to do the check in we was check in by 3:45. I asked for a room on the first floor he lied and said he did'nt have one because my husband can't do steps because they don't have elevators. We really had a very bad stay there.
I went to check in the hotel already having paid for it online and I get there and they tell me I never paid and that I need to pay again. They were saying that they don’t take payment online and only when you are there 0/10 will never go there again. I’ve already reached out to my credit car company to get my money back and I’d like a response from you guys aswell to get this all sorted out.
The bed was nice and clean.
I could barely understand the check in attendant. The building was not well maintained (stains, cracks, loose fittings, crumbling driveways). It all look abandoned. And the room had a strong smell of either disinfectant or cheap freshener.

In some places in Travelocity, the town is Penns Grove, in reality, the town is Carneys Point.

Let me begin by saying the staff was very pleasant and kind during check in and when I called the front desk after getting to my room. However; if you are looking for a relaxing, kick-back environment to just enjoy a weekend or night at--this is not it! You definitely get what you pay for but then again I am sure the area doesn't bring in the best people either!!
The hotel room was dirty, and had not been cleaned to normal hotel standards, much less to Covid cleanliness standards. The room had many marks and damaged spots on furnishings and carpet, and there were bugs in the room. Yet, at check-in, I had to pay a $100 deposit, which was refunded after staff physically inspected the room at the time of checkout. Reception staff at check-in was rude, although the receptionist at check-out was good. The safety latch on the entrance door was missing. The guest in the next room stood outside the door smoking and talking loudly and angrily on a cell phone late at night. The reservation stated breakfast was included, but there was no breakfast items or coffee provided. As a woman traveling alone, I did not feel safe in this hotel. I do not recommend this hotel.
I RESERVED AND PAID for ALL 3 rooms for my husband and his crew and when he got there he had to pay in cash - and yet my credit card was still charged - still trying to get my $ back they made them put $100 down until they inspected the rooms after use. They were non-smoking rooms and one of the comforters had a cigarette burn hole in it. One room smelled really bad.

Never again will I use hotels.com or Red Carpet In
I had to cancel this trip due to a critial medical emergency requiring three surgeries, over three full weeks before the trip. Neither customer service at this motel (Red Carpet Inn & Suites, Carneys Point, New Jersey) or Hotels.com cared or would help me in any way, despite numerous calls and conversations with both. I was not refunded my money. Never again will I use hotels.com. Never again will I use Red Carpet Inn and Suites. Both are uncaring and miserable.
The property was not worth staying at. I don’t know why you have this hotel on your site. Please remove them immediately. Until now I have trusted that Expedia only dealt with at minimal quality properties, but after this experience I will think 3x about booking with Expedia. I took 1 look at the room and had to leave. Nothing about the property was palatable. YUCK!
Check in was a nightmare, couldn't find my reservation. Ask for the same things over and over again. Took more than 20 minutes to check in and then didn't return drivers license
