“Parking is onsight but shared with the leisure center, which is very busy. The room was on the other side of the property which was not convenient at all. I was asked about adding the breakfast to my room, which I did not; however, I was not informed about use of any amenities. Front desk not helpful or friendly upon arrival. The housekeeping staff were nice.”

“This was a great place to stay. The bedrooms and the main floor living spaces were beautifully furnished and there was always music and a small fire in the fireplace. The continental breakfast was more than enough to eat, with a large selection of foods, but if you wanted to order a special breakfast it was only 5 euros. There was ample parking, and it’s close enough to the waterfront restaurants if you wanted to walk to a dinner. (About 15-20mins)

“Throughout our tour of Ireland, we stayed at several fantastic hotels, but The Maryborough was an absolute standout.
The entire staff is wonderful, but a special shout-out must go to Kieran, who made our visit truly unforgettable. Right from day one, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and treated us like family. He shared brilliant local travel tips, plenty of thoughtful recommendations, and great humor that kept us smiling.
