stayed with partner and we didn’t take the all-inclusive option. The food in the restaurants was delicious, everything was clean, and the territory was well maintained.
The only downside was the staff not being very friendly. Compared to the Dominican Republic or Mexico, the service here felt much weaker and less customer-oriented. I think management should pay attention to this. The young women at the front desk, in particular, seemed unhappy doing their job. These are usually the people who create the first impression of the hotel, and unfortunately, our first impression due to a tired and unfriendly receptionist was not very good.
Also, on the beach you need to grab umbrellas early, otherwise by around 11 a.m. there are no spots left. This is because not only hotel guests use the beach, but also outside visitors, who tend to take spots quickly. So that’s another small downside.
Overall, we liked everything else.
