"The apartment is situated just outside of Altea town centre, so only a short walk away (about 15mins). There is also a good tram link close by which runs from Alicante to Denia - so you can visit other towns pretty easily (fares are around 1.45 euros one way). As we did not have a car, we found this invaluable. The only minus was that as a self catering apartment, there are no shops close by - the nearest one is 300m away, so carrying water that distance can be tricky, especially if you do not...
