"I cannot say enough good things about Pieve Aldina. This property was beautiful and well maintained. Definitely worth the drive into Tuscany for a peaceful retreat. The staff were excellent and always at your service. Our room was rustic and cozy but the bathroom was spacious and luxurious. I truly enjoyed my stay and wish I had booked a few extra days!"

"Monica was the friendliest most enthusiastic host we’ve stayed with. Everything from her greeting to the amazing breakfast was perfect. She does a lot of baking, so the breakfast was really a treat and you could also get eggs cooked in various ways. The room was a little small but very comfortable. Parking was on the street, but it was fairly close and easy."

They are transforming an old winery into what will eventually be a 5- or 6-star resort, complete with a spa and other amenities. We stayed for two nights with our 11- and 13-year-olds and booked a family suite.
