"Hidden gem. Excellent value accommodation with large bedroom and bathroom featuring quality fittings aligning with the period house. We had a delightful hot breakfast with a great selection of freshly prepared ingredients. Pleasant garden surroundings great to walk around and explore. Ample on-site parking too. Staff were very accommodating. Unfortunately due to our UK travel plans we could only stay for 1 night. Located close to a nice country pub within walking distance having great family facilities too."

Whilst the room was clean it was absolutely soulless, no pictures on the walls, no soft furnishings of any kind, nothing that made it anything other than a functional space. On the flip side, the bathroom was obviously newly decorated and was luxurious in comparison to the bedroom although the shower was a bit ‘weedy’.
