Little Cottage in Harmony

Shouldn't everyone spend some time living in Harmony? We think so....

Our Little Cottage in the heart of the picturesque Town of Harmony, population 18 (if you count the cows) is the perfect artist or couples retreat looking for inspiration and is surrounded by open pasture lands. Harmony is right off scenic Highway 1 between Cayucos and Cambria.

A cozy 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage makes for a perfect weekend of exploring the coast or wine tasting in Paso Robles or just up the hill at Harmony Cellars.

*note* Harmony is a place to relax and unwind. We have no WiFi or tv.

This place is a gem!!! Chris was super accommodating and tended to our every need. The cottage was clean and stocked. We enjoyed our morning coffee and pastries, dinner at the Tiny Kitchen and our goodies from the Glass and Pottery shops. The swallows nesting in the eaves of the cottage were a fantastic show. All in all, a great trip that we will enjoy again very soon!!

Loved, loved, loved my stay in this special cottage. English lilac and English lavender in the entrance and golden grass prairie land in the back. Furnished beautifully, with every detail taken in consideration for a peaceful, memorable experience: not forgetting local ice cream waiting in the freezer. Perfect location, and a welcoming, thoughtful host.

Great Place to Stay

Property is clean and has everything you need. Location is beautiful and close to plenty of hiking, beaches, etc. Harmony gets busy during the day, but in the morning and evening you’ll have the whole town to yourself.

Always a wonderful stay!

Relaxing Family Time

Enjoyed celebrating my husband’s birthday with family. The lively little cabin was perfect for unplugging and playing games after a busy day wine tasting at Harmony Cellars and visiting antique shops. Little house was perfect spot for relaxing.

Visit to Harmony at Nick's place

Nick's place is a cozy cottage in a perfect location, right in the heart of the tiny town of Harmony, walking distance from a cafe, delicious ice cream, a pottery and glass gallery. Also located conveniently to get to Morro Bay, SLO, San Simeon. A perfect home base. The cottage was spotless and comfortable with a pretty well stocked kitchen to allow cooking. Your very close neighbors are swallows whose nests are in the eaves, so fun to watch them going in and out. And Nick was kind enough to allow us an early check-in. Great stay.

Simply Beautiful

The Little Cottage is the greatest of oases. Beautiful setting—quiet beauty everywhere I looked. It is just far enough from civilization to truly unwind and close enough to dine well. I would book this place again in a heartbeat.

The cottage is rustic and set in a rural bucolic scene. It is quiet in the evening. There are nesting cliff swallows in the eaves which is an ornithological delight to watch. This cottage has the mod cons and very cozy. The gardens has critters like lizards and squirrels. Some dairy cows will wander close by. This retreat is ideal for those wanting a digital detox and just take in nature. The towns of Cambria, Cayucos, and Pismo beach are nearby for fine dining and shopping. This place is not for fussy urbanites but ideal for those who want to experience nature and tranquility.

Quiet Time on the Coast

This is such a unique place to stay. It feels like the quintessential country cottage I've always dreamed of. Quiet at night yet close to so many things. We had such a good experience spending time together at the house and traveling around the area.

Adorable Harmony Cozy Home

The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. It is situated right in the tiny, artistic town of Harmony. Perfectly distanced between Cayucos and Cambria, both were fun places to explore. The ocean is nearby and was gorgeous when we were there. There’s no TV, but who’s here to watch TV! The bed was super comfortable. We would love to come back again.

A perfect house in a magical location

Two childhood friends who live far apart met at the house for a reunion and as a base to explore the central coast. The house is so beautifully and thoughtfully outfitted, with lots of personal touches such as a very well-equipped kitchen. It is a very comfortable and welcoming home. Harmony is a magical little enclave that feels completely rural, yet is just a few minutes away from Cambria, with all its shops and restaurants. Nick was a great host, instantly responsive to all our questions and very helpful. And there is so much to see and do within a very short drive, with much natural wonder along the central coast. We are absolutely delighted with everything about the stay and happily look forward to returning.

Beautiful Cottage

This little cottage is nestled right inside of town. With the shops closing early, we got to enjoy peaceful nights on the back patio, smelling the beautiful jasmine while watching wildlife roaming the fields towards the winery. We had an absolute fabulous stay with the kids.

Peaceful and Quiet

This charming cottage is surrounded by lovely gardens and outdoor seating areas. To the east is pasture and cows (but not close enough to hear or smell). To the west is Harmony. It was perfect for us. We used it as our home base for day trips to Cambria and Cayucus.

A Perfect Town All to Ourselves

Myself and my fiancee stayed here for a romantic weekend just before Valentine's day. We drove up from Los Angeles and made sure to stop at a few of the beautiful beach towns along the way: Pismo, Morro Bay, and Cayucos. Harmony is the perfect little town to walk around in an afternoon, and walk up the hill to a local winery that has a patio with an aerial view of Harmony. The ice cream is fresh and super delicious. Cows and horses are in your backyard and at night it's peaceful and quiet. The house is perfectly sized, every room feels fresh and cozy. The kitchen is huge and fully stocked to cook anything you can dream up. Fire pit out back was perfect to stay warm by while looking up at the stars at night. We also took a trip down the road to Cambria and we could have spent days there exploring, browsing antiques, and taking in all the history. Hearst Castle is always a must-see (Night Tour in the summer is a special treat). We will definitely be coming back and staying quite a bit longer.

Happiness in Harmony

What a wonderful place to spend a quiet sisters get away! We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the peacefulness of the area. There are lots of critters and a steady stream of people getting ice cream. :) The ice cream is amazing! Thanks for the treat!

Adorable Cottage

The tiny town of Harmony is adorable and so is the cottage. The backyard is a great spot for reading or alfresco dining. Be aware that the kitchen does not have cooking oil or spices, nor are games or reading material provided. So bring whatever you'll need. Nowhere for a long walk, but beautiful hiking a 6 minute drive away. Setting is gorgeous.
