"During our four-day stay, the hotel ran out of sheets and towels - how does that even happen? They shut down the elevators because of a rain storm. The in-room iron stained their pillowcase (because I was smart enough to test it on the pillowcase before trying it on my shirt). The continental breakfast was lacking, although a young girl did inform me that they were the best pancakes ever. The dry bagels (no cream cheese or butter) were fine, but definitely needed a spread. The eggs were powdered. The sausage was good, but spicier than reasonable for a crowd of strangers. There were huge bowls of something, maybe yogurt, that no one was eating because it was at room temperature (single-serve containers in the fridge would have been great). The balcony doors to both of our rooms were extremely difficult to open. The Internet was out throughout our stay, so no WiFi and no streaming on TV. The bathroom was very small. We had an unfortunate spill on the bed and were told there were no sheets or towels available to clean it up or remake the bed. The desk clerk was disinterested and unbothered. My husband insisted that at least they could take the sheets and towels from an unoccupied room, at which the clerk offered to move us to a new room. It was a pain to move all of our things, but it was better than nothing All in all, it was a passable place to sleep for the night, but not much else. The attached restaurant was very good. We would return to the restaurant, but not the hotel."

"Room was actually falling apart, door knobs falling on the ground, toilet water keeps running, I asked for an ironing board, spent 3 days still no ironing board.."

"Great stay.... staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. Amenities were above normal - even offering free flavored coffees and drinks for guests. Neighborhood wasn't too bad."

"Property itself in the room. The pool area is also great. The only problem is when you dial the one 800 number for the code hotel you reach a lady when I consulted with her about early check-in. She said that was no problem Anything after 2 PM there was no charge before 2 PM. It was $100 so I opted for the 2 PM. I get on property in the gentleman would like no we can’t accommodate you. I said I spoke to the lady that you your number was 2 o’clock, no no no I just wish that they were on the same page and that they did more to accommodate someone that would be there for a week being 1100 almost 1200."

"Upscale vibes. Restroom left much to be desired. Hotel is plenty close to city action. Staff was polite and helpful despite being very busy. "

"We had a great stay for 3 nights here. We checked in late and appreciated the front desk taking care of us. We really enjoyed the room we had on a corner, 5th floor- yes, you could hear music and noise on the weekend, but IT"S AUSTIN, we were fine with it and mostly out enjoying the city anyway. Good location in terms of walkability to some great spots around us. The pool area was very pretty, we wished there was a hot tub. We had a drink and snack up on the top floor and the view and vibes were nice, the bartender made a good martini. The parking is valet only which was a bit of an ordeal just to wait for someone to get to you, then get your car- they never sent us the text to be able to pre-get our vehicle when we needed it though we brought it up several times. They were very nice about it all. Overall we would recommend and could see staying here again on a future visit to Austin."
