“I usually don’t leave reviews, but my experience at this hotel was so bad I feel compelled to share it to warn other travelers. I previously worked in the hospitality industry and understand you get what you pay for. I don’t expect a five-star experience from a budget hotel - just the basics: a clean bed, a clean shower, WiFi, and a mini fridge. I’ve stayed in many cheap hotels that met these expectations. “The sink was slow draining. The shower was too hot and when you tried to adjust it by turning it towards the cold, the water just trickled out and it was still too hot! The floor was so dirty my feet were black and had to be washed from walking across it. The staff was nice. The breakfast was fine: waffles, frozen Jimmy Dean egg sausage, cheese croissants, cereal, toast, bagels. ”

“Paid for a king suite with a whirlpool tub. No tub. Ila at desk very rude and said she couldn’t do anything about it because we booked through Expedia. Also charged more than the advertised rate for a pet. Hot tub was warm not hot. Pool and hot tub area not clean. Would not come there again”

“The property was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful, but I asked for a Mountain View room and was given a wheelchair accessible room, and there was so much noise above me that it felt like they were doing construction or there was a gym upstairs. This was a little upsetting because I had a long bike ride in the morning and that was the reason why I stayed there”

“The place is beautiful and tucked into the woods. I recommend taking a screenshot of the instructions while you have cell service since it cuts in and out when you're that deep in the hills. You have wifi in the room which is great. Loved the property! There's a community kitchen in the lodge for all your cooking needs.”

“I freaked OUT over the general amount of filth and the amount of mold in the bathroom!! I never even put my things down.
