Very retro motel. Bed was very comfortable and A/C worked great. The rooms on the south side of the motel seem more modern and occupied more often than those on the north end.

Charming throwback motel in the classic style (one floor, park outside your room). The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Only grumble is that there are no usb ports, and that's only because I forgot to bring my adapter.

It was quiet, clean. I had trouble figuring out how to plug in the lamps over the beds but finally figured it out. Bef was very comfortable and I went to sleep and slept well. Good selection of programs on the direct TV, but it was pretty loud and I was frustrated that I could not decrease the volume and/or mute it and turn on closed captioning.

The first room we were in the AC unit didn’t cool . We were promptly moved to another room and the AC worked fine. The room is what some call outdated but if you like antiques you will be fine. The hotel is very small and a little out of the way. If you’re looking for a cheaper way to visit the area it works just fine.

Motor lodge with clean rooms

This is a 1960’s type of motor lodge and could use updating, but it was clean and everything worked. The manager was very friendly. I would stay there again.

Room was old and dated. Bed was comfortable. Blood in bathroom wall noted. Maintenance highly recommended. Broken walls and baseboards. Room across from dog training/boarding facility. Lots of barking at 730 am. People live at this motel. No peep hole. Lock very weak. I was alone and this place is far from town center. I asked for a receipt and I was given a hand written receipt with no company name noted on receipt. (Book of receipts bought at supply store)

Check in was easy, room was very clean and quiet. No USB ports and I forgot to get the wi-fi password. We were only there 12 hours and I would go there again. I loved that my car was right outside the door. Parking spaces are plenty wide. There is a fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Everything went just fine.

Outdated but very clean. Comfortable beds. Safe area Walls are a little thin. I could hear the people talking in the next room but I just turned on some white noise and slept comfortably. I would definitely stay here again.

Basic but good

Very basic motel, but that is all we needed. Motel is exceptionally clean and quiet despite being fully booked. The owner was very friendly and went out of his way to be helpful. The cost is especially reasonable. I would stay there again.

Very nice hotel.

Our stay went very well. We were in town to visit our son at U of I. The hotel was like 20-25 mins away from the university which was ok with us. Room was very clean and neat. Friendly service. The hotel was also located in a nice quiet area as well. Would stay again.
