"We have been coming every year to la Vendée to visit my family. We have stayed in numerous gites over the years. This is by far the best place! The owners are lovely, great communication and we all appreciated the biscuits on our arrival. The gite is very well equipped, everything you can think of is there and more. "There were 12 of us in total for our stay, adults and young children. Emeline managed to find 3 cots, highchairs/booster seats and baby baths for us which really helped with our young children. We had a lovely time at the house Frederick and Emeline were very friendly and helpful, they live on site but they are not intrusive. Although our group was split over 2 different houses the outside table was large enough for us all to eat together. The best thing was the pool area which was fantastic...

"Bon accueil des propriétaires, malheureusement absents durant le séjour. Malheureusement ils n’ont pas demandé de caution. Nous avons taché avec de l’eau les chaises de la cuisine /salle á manger que j’ai mentionnées d’une part á la belle fille visuellement et par message á la propriétaire. Pas de réponse de cette dernière comment la dédommager et á notre départ le fils et la belle fille ont demandé 50 euros pour les 2 chaises. Nous n’avions que 40 euros et notre chéquier était dans une valise...

"A 30 min du puy du fou . Nous étions en pleine campagne. Les enfants ont profité de la piscine . L'eau était froide .. mais ils ont joué un peu dans l'eau en profitant d'une éclaircie. Grand gite avec chacun sa chambre 2 vrais grands lits et le reste lit d'une personne . une terrasse avec table de ping pong et barbecue."

"Point de chute parfait pour parcourir une partie de la région (notamment le Puy du fou 😁) Le logement est de qualité bien équipé. Lave linge, lave vaisselle, micro onde, cuisinière à gaz, four, bouilloire, cafetière et bonus en prime il y a tout le necessaire pour biendébuter son séjour. La procédure d'arrivée et de départ est très claire. La communication avec les propriétaires est top. Ils sont toujours à l'écoute et à disposition. Nous recommandons vivement "

"Nice hotel, room clean. The actual town itself is rundown and doesn’t offer much facilities. The restaurant was nice but doesn’t cater much for non meat eaters. We had a dog with us and were given a disabled room with its own door to the car park. The dog was also allowed to come with us to the restaurant."

"Hotel is clean and bed is comfortble, if decor is slightly shabby. It is fine for an overnight stay when on a journey. Handy for Les Sables d'Olonne which is a nice port with good restaurants. We arrived late so the restaurant was closed but the hotel has a late check in which is useful."

"The hotel was convenient for the route we were on. The receptionist was friendly. The room was clean and tidy but minimalist. The room was small with bed against the wall so accessible from one side only. The bed itself was comfortable. Being convenient for the route it was also noisy all night if you are a light sleeper ear plugs would help. But it was cheap! "

"It is a scam. I received confirmation email the day of my rental claiming i was expected there, but when i showed up I could not reach the landlord. I had to book another facility and spent 2 hours trying to solve the situation with expedia /vrbo ... "
