Beautiful location and great place! Just make sure you realize it easily sleeps four but it’s just one big room with a small kitchen area/room, basically a studio. Hosts were wonderful
We stayed here for a short getaway- great, family friendly neighborhood. Multiple pools and parks within walking distance, and beaches within a 20 min drive. Pictures don’t do it justice- it was very inviting, clean and updated! Would love to stay again in the future!
Excellent stay in a quiet neighborhood with all the amenities of home. Easy access to the airport, downtown Charleston and surrounding area. Highly recommend.
This is a very comfortable and well equipped studio. The perfect size for two of us. It is conveniently located in a beautiful neighborhood. It was the perfect place to “come home to” after busy days of sightseeing.
Perfect for a couple who doesn’t want to stay in Charleston. Very clean. Kitchen small but works. It could have used a toaster oven due to no oven available. Very safe quiet neighborhood. Great experience.
The property was very clean with a nice decor. Daniel Island was a great location, seemed central to downtown Charleston as well as other outlying islands. I would say the property description was a little misleading. This is definitely a studio apt, not a 1 bedroom. That being said there was plenty of room, it was just all in one large room other than the small kitchenette.
This studio apartment was so beautiful. It was perfect for my best friend and I to stay for the long weekend. It was close to everything and in a very nice area. The check in and out process was super easy. The bed was very comfortable and the layout was nice and open. I would highly recommend this apartment. My friend and I even were saying we would stay there if we had stayed a week. If I need a place in this area, I would definitely love to stay here again.
This was perfect for our visit to Charleston for a wedding. Comfortable and cool. Really appreciated the washer/dryer so I could return home without loads of laundry. Daniel Island is absolutely beautiful. I wish I'd had more time to explore.
Very clean, bright, comfortable property. Owner was prompt in responding when we needed something. Bed and bedding were perfect. Comfortable lounging area. Kitchen was workable, but be aware there are no basics provided such as salt, pepper, sugar, and no table to eat on. Even a little folding table would be a great addition. Location was outstanding, including closeness to Charleston attractions. The price was very reasonable for what you get with this property.
Nice place. Clean. Is a little deceiving that it says one bedroom and pictures make it look like so but it is living room/bedroom all one big open room. Good kitchen, however small things like hand towel and measuring cups would make it easier to use. Lots of steps to get up to apartment, my husband slipped and fell down them early morning with wet weather. Broke his ankle.
I was expecting the place to be a one bed apartment but it is in fact a large studio apartment. The photos misled me to think there was a bedroom and a lounge. It would not be suitable for 4 adults, possibly a family of 4 with 2 small children but definitely not older . It's beautifully done and we were very comfortable, location is very quiet and pretty, walking to the communal pool is about 15 mins but was lovely!
The listing was a little deceptive in that it showed a pic of a dock over water so we thought it was directly on the river. Also, it advertised a one bedroom and it was really a studio. That being said, the unit was not what we expected, but was delightful! Bright, airy and clean. The neighborhood was safe and very walkable. Trails lead to the estuary where we saw wildlife like jumping fish, wading birds and 'gators, yikes! It was a little far from the beach, but hey it was vacation, so 20 minutes wasn't THAT far. The owner responsive and available by text. Overall a good stay.
The location was great and the neighborhood was beautiful. We found it easy enough to get to all of the places we wanted to visit. I wish I had read the reviews before booking this property as it’s more of a studio apartment in the owners backyard. This was rough for our family of 4 as everyone constantly woke everyone else up. The sleeper sofa was very noisy so anytime our kids moved we all woke up. There was also a light on the ceiling that kept lighting up the room all night. But the place was very clean and overall would recommend for anyone not traveling with children.
Very enjoyable. Daniel Island is beautiful and more bicycle friendly than I realized. Wish we would have brought ours.
Nice accommodations. Clean, quiet and nicely appointed. A table to sit at would have been nice though.
Only negative - we went to the upstairs portion of KingTides, which was recommended in the Welcome Email, and had a TERRIBLE meal. One meal was atrocious and one left plenty to be desired. I do want to say, however, that the Manager promptly came to our table and did his best to make amends.
Otherwise, all good.
The space was small but very cute and well decorated. Our stay was overall great but we do have a few suggestions that would improve this property! We messaged the owner since we were estimated to arrive 30 minute early and we wanted to know if we could check in a bit early. We never got a response. Once we arrived the place was clean and quaint however we had to make our own bed. Lastly, the other bummer was no wash clothes in the bathroom. That being said we would recommend this place to our friends and family.
My husband and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary and this was the perfect location. It is located in an upscale neighborhood that is very quiet. The space has all that would need for a weekend trip. While it is located on Daniel’s Island; very close proximity to all of Charleston’s activities and sights. I would have given our stay 5 stars-however we thought it would have been nice to have some lights along the pathway to the cottage as it is dark and if you are dressed for the night-you can slip. Also, if you know you will staying out until dusk, turn the inside light on so you will be able to see the knob and press in your lock code! The bed was comfortable. Some of the pillows could use an upgrade as well as the towels and no washcloths available only hand towels. My husband and I used them for one night washed them and went to Walmart to purchase soft towels and washcloths.
Overall I would recommend despite the small grievances that we adjusted to without complaint during our stay.
