"Everything was fantastic"

"Staff was nice, common areas weren’t clean, room was clean, two inches missing off the bottom of the room door so we could hear the hallway noise. We were there on a busy weekend."

"When we checked in on 3/17 the lady at the desk that evening was not welcoming at all. That was a major turnoff from entering the door… not Welcome, not Hello, just do you have a reservation…. Like why do you think we’re here lady ? Most rooms are up about 20 stair, I got help with my bags my husband did not. When we checked out no help to bring bags downstairs. If you like a semi-soft springy mattress this is the place. Location is great but that’s about it. "

"Great location in the Historic French Quarter. Rooms good size, nice to have a balcony. Only complaint is there was no mini fridge and the shampoo/conditioner dispenser made the shower feel crowded. It should be on the opposite end of shower head. Great happy hour, check your bill to make sure you’re not charged for valet parking if you didn’t use it, luckily we caught that charge. "

"Good, but not great stay for a weekend getaway. Overall our room was quiet, clean and comfortable with nice linens, decor and well stocked snacks/drinks. The location was wonderful, being centrally located off of King St. The staff were friendly and I appreciated being able to check in early. My main problem with the hotel was its lack of care on maintenance. I’m not someone who gets upset over some chipped paint or regular wear, but when multiple reviews comment on ripped curtains or other maintenance issues you would think they’d make more of an effort to fix those (our room also had ripped curtains and a toilet paper holder falling off the wall). The breakfast basket wasn’t anything to write home about, so don’t get too excited about that. The pool area is small, but nice to have at a downtown location, though umbrellas would have been nice. For the money I spent on this room I was expecting just a little bit more, but overall it was a nice stay. "
