Indigo Inn was in a perfect spot for eating, shopping and touring the history of Charleston. Our room was somewhat small in size but manageable. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean. You had breakfast options, drinks and cheese and cracker social in the afternoon and milk and cookies before bed. The lobby area was small but you could go outside to courtyard that was nice.

What a warm and welcome stay. The accommodations were great and the staff was top notch. Snacks and drinks were available all day and the complimentary wine/beer and charcuterie and the milk and cookies each night, were a pleasant surprise. What a gem of a hotel. The onsite parking was perfect as the hotel is within walking distance of everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Reasonably priced when I snagged it during my stay! Unfortunate for me that when I asked if I could extend once my cousins leave, they were fully booked. Not surprised because it truly was a comfortable stay for my cousins and I. The courtyard was beautiful and nice spot for retreat from the bustles of Charleston! We already talked about coming back one day soon. :-)

I loved the rooms with the sofa and the convenience of getting to the room on the first floor. I loved the wine and cheese but was not fully satisfied with the late-hours cookie experience there was no chocolate chip but other than that little thing I loved my stay here and would not hesitate to recommend it or stay there again.

This is a decent place within walking distance from of many major sites. You get a continental, rather than a full breakfast. The evening reception has many complimentary beverages and snacks. Most rooms’ window face the walkway in the courtyard, so one is hesitant to open the curtains, making the rooms a little dark and claustrophobic.

The inn itself was very nice. The rooms are a little small, but the convenient and attractive courtyard makes up for this. Our room was attractive and clean. The location is very convenient. What was not so nice was the parking lot, which has very narrow spaces and a very tight aisle. Someone backed into our car, resulting in expensive damage. It wasn't the hotel's fault that another guest did this (and failed to take responsibility for their actions) but the bottom line is that our two nights here wound up costing us $1000 more than we had planned, after paying our insurance deductible. Given the design of the parking lot, I expect this happens regularly. Stay at the inn - but park somewhere else.

The bathroom could have been a little cleaner as there was a clump of hair on the shower drain that I removed before my wife saw it. The location and walk ability can’t be beat which is what drew us to this location.
