Charlestown Chalets

Always love this location. Very convenient for our trips to Vt. Cell service in general is spotty. I really rely on the WiFi. That needs to be better in this hotel. It was not working while I was there.

It was a perfect stay. The room was clean, the view beautiful and the breakfast was wonderful. I wish e could have stayed longer!

I had a very comfortable stay. No complaints. Many great cable TV channels, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, My room had a river view (pictured).

This property was extremely beautiful and peaceful. Loved being able to walk around the farm and say hi to the animals. The views of the mountains from the cabin or gorgeous, we enjoyed having our coffee on the porch each morning. Having fresh eggs and scones in our cabin upon arrival was a very nice surprise. Will definitely be staying there again.

Huge comfortable suits, great for families. Loft has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus living room, dining room, and full kitchen. Also gas fireplaces (though may not be running) which creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. Pool, hot tub, and sauna were in great condition. Highly recommend.

When I walked in the door I was dumbfounded with the size of the room, it was huge to call it a room does not do it justice. 2 stories, full living and dining room, you have to call it a villa, or a house I'd live in! Clean comfortable, roomy, held 6 adults easily! Very new very modern, looked and smelled freshly renovated! Much more than I was expecting !

It was a short stay but an awesome one. Newfane is a quaint area. The room itself was beautiful. It was nice and quiet; didn’t hear others. Very clean. Would loved to have stayed longer. A little pricey but then it again it was a last minute booking and also peak foliage season.

Vicky is amazing. She is so friendly!!! She also cooks a homemade breakfast for you in the morning. Incredible.

Loved the place, it’s old so full of charm and perhaps not so easy, stairs, rumpled flooring but I like such places. Had dinner which was very good, has a nice little pub as well. Everyone I encountered was pleasant.

The property is very well maintained and decorated. The room and bathroom are very clean. It has two very nice common area with 2 big windows that made them bright and sunny and cozy. It's also along a major highway so it's easy to find. The owners/operators of this hotel are very kind, thoughtful and accomodating to the needs of their guests. This is the second time we've stayed in a Suite room. King sized bed in the BR; kitchen with full-sized appliances, LR with pull-out Queen sofa, gas fireplace, bathroom with jetted tub! Very comfortable and fully equipped. STAFF I want to start by pointing out that the staff at the hotel were above and beyond PHENOMENAL, and I mean ALL THE STAFF. I spent the weekend up there and got stuck with some car problems in a blizzard and dealt with everybody on the staff there. They were some of the nicest people I have ever dealt with in the hospitality industry. When I say all the staff, I mean all the staff! DAY 1. Super cozy and cute place to stay. The owners are super sweet and helpful. The location is great if you plan on hitting Magic Mountain and is only ~2.5 miles to Londonderry. Definitely plan on staying here again.
