I check in, and the room isn’t terrible. I saw some bad reviews and was worried. But then I return to my hotel at around 1:30 a.m. and when I put the key in the door, it was already unlocked. I open the door, and I see sheets from my bed are tossed around. It’s dark, and I’m honestly afraid another person might be in there. I turn the lights on, and no one is there, thankfully, but sheets are everywhere. One is just plopped on the desk chair. The bed sheet is barely pulled around the corners of the mattress. I open the bathroom (door was closed when I left), and a drenched towel is just sitting on the sink.
Slept in this room for about three hours, partially because of the aforementioned weirdness, partially because people were outside my room, talking, until 3 a.m. I just put on fresh clothes to check out. I don’t even use the bathtub because the drain looked gunky. Two mint-sized bugs then crawl across the sink while I’m brushing my teeth.
The worst part is, when I check out, they can’t find my name in the system. The woman at the front desk tells me another person evidently checked into my room around 5 p.m. and allegedly checked out around 9 p.m., during the time I was away at my work function. So I walked away with a receipt with someone else’s name on it, pretty sure they double-rented my room, and I probably just slept in a bed where someone had a quickie while I was gone, thus the sheets.
Stay away. This place isn't a bargain. You get what you pay for.
