“A clean and beautiful room in a quiet country inn. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the inn was situated in a great place for the sites and villages we were visiting. We didn’t have an evening meal at the property as we had plans but the meals looked wonderful. Breakfast the next morning was very reasonably priced with a great variety of options. I opted for the scrambled egg on sour dough which was lovely. I definitely recommend and would stay again.”

“The room was nice: I realize that AC is not a common luxury but when paying $450/ night I would have assumed there was air conditioning. The rug in the lobby had severe water damage which looked very dirty. The worst situation was the bartender. I went up to order a drink for my husband. I asked for a brand of beer, and the bar tender laughed at my request, Instead, I ordered him a gin and tonic (his second choice). “Funny story, spotted hotel was for 18+ but hadn’t clocked it’s largely targeting ‘seniors.’ So my wife and I booked to celebrate our 15year anniversary, I’m 41, she’s 39 so considerably younger than almost everyone else there. That said, still really enjoyed it. Excellent entertainment (80’s band). Nice grounds, very nicely furnished and decorated hotel throughout. We opted for half board, there is an al a cart option but no vacancies so we tried the buffet diner which was average at best.……
