“Perfect, great communication from moment of booking to depature, wonderful attention to detail made a few nights stay at The Dovecote a perfect post Christmas pre New Year tonic. Lovely walks in a calm setting. Very comfortable accomodation, everything we needed and more. Natalie gave us a warm welcome and made sure all was ok, and there at departure to wish us well. “There were no instructions for anything - including how to lock the door or the boiling water tap.There were holes in the pillow cases and the bedding was very creased and crinkly - with a funny odour.The whole place needed a good clean - lots of dog hairs on the sofa and was really quite dusty. When we stripped the bedding - there were blood stains on the pillows. Good location and the water pressure was great.”

“For older folks traveling from other places carrying heavy luggage, not being able to hold luggage in the room upon early arrival is a pain. Also, if not from Europe cells phones and internet don't work well so not being able to contact proprietors can be a problem.
