Each bed has a brand-new NECTAR mattress, 400TC lux sateen weave linens, and Buffy Cloud comforters. You will truly feel like you are sleeping in the clouds. 🧻 AMENITIES: We provide Public Goods shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap, as well as towels, toilet paper, paper towels & trash can liners. 🅿️ PARKING: There is enough room for 2 vehicles at the main base of the drive way, as well as a 3rd spot about halfway down the driveway (you will have to walk about 200 feet down to the cabin from this spot). 🚘 THE DRIVE TO THE TOP: The cabin in located at the top of Rich Mountain, so the road can be a bit windy and steep at times. Take your time and enjoy the adventure! We recommend 4WD or AWD, if that's an option, if not though -- we have cars with FWD make it up but will take a bit more skill. Pro tip: if you turn your radio down and open the windows, you can hear the sounds of the creek as you ascend to the top! 💻 INTERNET: We have high speed internet! You are able to surf the web, stream videos and work remotely. You can access your Hulu & Netflix accounts with the Smart TVs 🥾 OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES: There are tons of things to do around here: hiking, fly fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking, kayaking, bird watching, SQUATCHIN' (look it up, lol.)--anything you can think of, Appalachia has it. 🔐 SECURITY: A Ring security camera is located OUTSIDE on the front porch of the house for your security. This outdoor camera does actively record. There was plenty of space for a small family, and it felt cozy without being cramped.One thing to note: for those who have lived on flat land, getting up to the cabin is very, very steep and bumpy. Some of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept on. We like a firmer mattress that gives us support and it definitely did that. The jacuzzi was nice and hot after a chilly walk. It is in such a peaceful location yet close to Blue Ridge and Ellijay. The drive up is quite challenging the first go round but once you get the hang of it, it is a piece of cake! The host was great at communicating, the beds were really comfortable and we loved the Christmas decorations! Beautiful and well stocked home located on a quiet mountainside. We loved our stay and felt very much at home. It's an old restored cabin with lots pf windows, and a lot of modern updates. We spent a lot of time in the Sun room with all of the windows open enjoying the mountain breeze, tree lined mountain view and birds chirping. We sipped tea outside and soaked up the sun every morning on the two rocking chairs. The beds are comfortable, my hubby and I slept comfortably on the queen master bed. The room is small (for big men). There are three levels with 3 beautifully updated bathrooms, and our family of 5 and dog were very comfortable with plenty of seating a cozy areas for everyone to do their own thing. The cabin is well stocked with very cute kitchen accessories for tea and coffee. A 4WD or AWD drive is an absolute must!!! My sister in law and husband came to visit in their sequoia and got stuck coming down the driveway and had to have a local tow truck company come and pull them out of the turn. The tow truck guy was familiar with the cabin. If you have a 4WD or AWD you will have no problems at all. Just be prepared for gravel windy steep roads with no GPS service, so use your instructions that the host provides. That being said, it is well worth it! The walls are thin, so we could hear each other from all around the cabin in separate rooms. No dressers provided, so use cubes or hang everything. Loved it and would return. It was clean and cozy and had everything we wanted and needed. Comfy beds, rocking chairs inside and out, a jacuzzi, a fireplace, and a giant tub for bubble baths. The living room couch will put you to sleep as you watch movies on the projector with mountains in the background. The kitchen was full of everything we needed to cook and we had a great time camping it up on the charcoal grill outside. It rained most of our stay so having a house that was a destination in itself was so important for us. We are fully recharged from our stay. We did manage to do three gorgeous hikes nearby and the host was very responsive with our questions during out stay.
