The hot spring is excellent (even though the main indoor pool was a hotter than the super-nice temperature on previous occasions), breakfast is good, rooms are comfortable (although aircon was not working well this time and one had to sleep with open windows, it was reasonably quiet), convenient parking nearby"
"This is the first time I’ve stayed at the Waltzing Weasel. It felt like an home from home and the owners were amazing. I cannot fault this hotel. The surrounding areas are also wonderful. The breakfast on the morning is first-class. I’ll definitely be back."

"Really happy with our stay in Furness Vale.The communication and information from Andy was great.Short drive to most of the peaks and Buxton.The walk along the canal path to New Mills was very pleasant.The cottage was very homely and comfortable and a great place to head back to after a long day walking.Definitely stay there again. "The Royal Oak was clean and tidy , everything you would expect for a pub. The room was a nice size and was comfortable enough. The staff were really helpful and very pleasant. The Royal Oak is quite central so you can easily walk to everywhere in the small village. The breakfast was traditional English breakfast and was of standard fare. It was very cheap to stay for the night and would recommend if passing through Chapel area."

"We absolute loved our stay at Castle House. It is a beautiful house and the decor and facilities were high end. The house was spotless when we arrived and the towels, cleaning and kitchen products and toiletries were such a lovely added touch. The tvs are amazing and every channel you could possibly want. The bathroom was lovely and clean and the heated towel rail was fantastic and very easy to use. The shower was lovely and spacious.
Even though you are on a main road it didnt feel like it as it was enclosed, very secure and quiet.
There are pubs, cafes and shops within walking distance and these were really nice, well priced and i highly recommend
Me and my family would definitely come back again and everyone who has seen my photos have been asking about it.
