“We chose this location for convenience and that they are pet friendly. The rooms are in dire need of updating. The water pressure is hardly there. The towels are so old that they are thin. The bathroom and tub have rusted and ware marks. The beds were clean though the mattresses need to be replaced. The mini fridge is so old that the paint is peeling. The outdoor stairs are rusted and need to be replaced. The breakfast was better than I expected and we very much appreciated the……

“The only reason I gave 4 stars was the air conditioner was very loud was hard to sleep. Otherwise this was a nice place to stay.”

“Non smoking room and was updated and very clean with all tile flooring. Bedding and towels were very nice quality.”

“Spacious and quiet room except there was a group of people being loud and annoying outside in the middle of the night. The AC was powerful yet quiet. There were also like 10 fruit flies in our room. A few of the small towels were yellow and had dust but the big ones were fine. Plenty of parking spots. Breakfast was not bad. No elevator.”

“While the room was described as a balcony room on the riverfront it is really a ground level room with a small wooden deck. It sits on a field that is a good distance away from the water and you have a slight view of the river from your room. The grounds offer nice seating to view and enjoy the river from. There is a pool in front of the motel that was kept clean. This is a roadside motel so there are many loud vehicles that travel by all hours of the night. The air conditioner has a high fan……

“This place was absolute perfection from the second we walked until we walked out. The friendliest staff and owners. Super comfortable beds and a delicious fine dining steak house right in the building. The grounds are stunning with peacocks, bamboo and a stunning fountain with seating all around. I couldn’t believe how good of a deal the Putnam Lodge. If I could give 10/5 stars!!!!!!!”

“House was clean and offered a fenced back yard for pets. The back yard needed some cleaning up as was full of fire ant piles and some overgrown areas that might be home to snakes. There were no instructions available for us technology challenged folks on internet and TV use. The only "challenging" thing for us was the size of the beds. Listing has it with one queen bed and one full bed. When measured they are both full beds - se we wound up sleeping in separate beds.”

“The room was horrible and dirty. I had to go to the store to buy sheets, towels, and wipes to clean the room and the bathroom. I paid 100 dollars for one night—how is this even possible? Don’t be fooled by the photos; in reality, it’s absolutely disgusting.”

“Clean and convenient to our needs”

“The hosts at this property were excellent; very friendly and accommodating, very responsive to all communications and willing to provide any requested items (like larger coffee mugs, a can opener) and were appreciative of any suggestions we had to make their property more user friendly. Since we are long time campers, the amenities more than met our expectations. Also, we don’t eat out very often and while we had packed a few essentials (seasonings, a good sharp knife, electric frying pan), most……

“The room was upgraded and saved in money so starting off our trip was nice, we were put in the Mountain Dew room. It was nice. Two big beds(did eat the floor space) but it was comfy. Rooms were recently renovated after Helen and they did a good job. Bath rooms were nice, and clean. There is no daily turn down service, but all you have to do is ask for more toilet paper and trash bags, the owner dose a great job hooking you up. Motel is near the public beach, and all the local restaurants. Make……

“The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was very helpful with all the instructions and codes needed before check in. The location was great as well.”
