"For a 16th (?) century village, this is an outstanding accommodation. The room was nice and very clean. I liked the location and the walk from the parking area was not too bad. The breakfast was excellent (see if you can get them to make you two croissants!). The area is EXCELLENT for exploring the Italian and French Alps. I had some of the prettiest hikes (and I'm from Colorado)!"

The facilities in the room were OK. It was quite a long hike to get to the slopes and to restaurants. Overall OK but if we went back to Pra-loup we'd aim to stay further up the hill"

"We stayed in a house-keeping unit (with kitchen, balcony, etc.). There was a lovely heated pool with a great view. The location was very convenient for excursions into the mountains (GREAT hiking a short drive away!!). We made our own meals, but the for-fee breakfast seemed pretty good (from what we saw). "I'd say that it's a very nice budget type hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. You can get a good breakfast and dinner at their restaurant (if you pay extra). There isn't much to do around in the evening. It's about 10 minutes walk to the village, but there isn't mich there either. One thing I don't understand is why people put a (transparent) window in the bathroom, without any blinds, facing the backyard. "
