The place is dirty and unkempt and the made excuses for lack of staff but definitely charged high rate for a room in Houston would be 40 dollars. The breakfast was a joke some apples and oranges and bananas with cereal. How this place got a 7 on the rating is a mystery to me. Do yourself a favor and drive on to the next town"

"Staff was excellent. Hostess went out of way to call us the day before arrival to inform us of a broken elevator. We had a lot of HEAVY luggage and she endured us that our room would be on the ground floor and it WAS. VERY SATISFIED. We are Choice hotel platinum members but are now considering switching to Holiday Inn hotels for our future stays. "

"I sent a message 2 times to the property to let them know that I will be checking in late night . they responded with an automated response. When I got there, tired after been driving for several hours and expecting to get a clean room to sleep in… NOBODY respond the bell, neither the phone hanging in one window outside of the building to ask for help with the check in process. O wait there for over 40 minutes before called Expedía to ask them for help."

"We would like to see better breakfast options. They have improved over the last couple years. We stopped going here because of the construction to improve the property. We will keep coming back. "
