"If you are looking for a unique place to stay while visiting the Brandywine Valley, this is it. Beautiful field stone cottage that is over 200 years old, but with all modern amenities. Decorated with rustic antiques. Lovely view of creek and woods in back, saw deer, fox, and geese. Within 20 minutes of all attractions. Loved it, hope to return."

"Waterview cottage is comfortable and very clean. The accommodations look new and we had good sleep. The kitchen has most of the necessary equipment for meal preparation. A baking sheet pan is needed. WiFi and Roku TV was excellent. The primary bedroom bed was so tall/high my wife could not get in or out of it. That necessitated sleeping in the 2 twins. The property is not what it used to be.
"We've stayed at this location numerous times before it changed over to Red Roof Inn and it was always very nice. The past few years it has really gone downhill. Several angry customers in the lobby when we arrived. Problems with programming the room keys. We'll be staying elsewhere next time."
