Shimogamo Shrine
5/5(1 review)
This shrine was dedicated to spirits in the 6th century. Now, it survives as the oldest of its kind in Kyoto, pre-dating the city itself.

THE BLOSSOM KYOTO
5/5 Excellent
"My family agreed this is the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed in! The staff was kind and professional. The room was comfortable and spacious-had a nice sitting area, very comfortable beds. The shower was luxurious. The laundry in the basement was set up next to a nice lounge area with complimentary snacks and drinks. It was about a 15 minute walk to major shopping, restaurants and Nishiki Market. I wished it was a little closer, but then getting to walk the side streets of Kyoto to get there was a wonderful experience too! "
