One of the best hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The staff was friendly and helpful, they provided us 3 free breakfast meals for the time we were there! The room itself was super unique and that made the stay even more fun! Highly recommend!

The hotel was beyond my expectations. It was easy to grab Ubers or taxis. Lots of great places to eat within the vicinity. The staff was incredibly helpful and the room was very large. The bed was super comfy though the pillows could be more firm. Outside of that, I would gladly recommend this spot for their staff and rooms. There’s a nice restaurant located in the hotel but didn’t visit due to time.

Designer hotel close to imperial palace grounds, a short walk to public transport. Huge individually designed rooms, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Last minute booking so good value. Breakfast was good, either Japanese or a Japanese take on Western. Smart TV a welcome boon, not commonly found in Japanese hotels. Can recommend at discounted price but not at list price.

This boutique hotel is so unique and amazing! We were in the semi suite on the 3rd floor (orange & blue decor). It was so comfortable and relaxing. Location is fabulous. The served breakfast was delicious. The staff were very attentive and any language challenges were overcome with translate apps/chat. The mini bar and all toiletries provided were thoughtful and appreciated. We would definitely stay here again!!

Beautifully designed hotel with interiors that vary in each room. Conveniently located by the metro and by cute antique shops and near the imperial garden. Staff were very helpful and provided vegan breakfast option every morning. Recommend !!

Beautiful hotel located directly across from the National Garden, in a very peaceful part of town. The Design room was gorgeous and spacious and had a lovely view of a series of shrines across the street. Reception was wonderful and allowed me to check in to my room very early, were very welcoming, professional and provided great service - thank you again for the great stay!

This is an amazing little hotel. Right in the heart of Kyoto, but you'd never know it. So peaceful and quiet. Staff is incredibly helpful . Each room is uniquely designed and absolutely beautiful.

Such a beautiful property. The staff was super friendly, the breakfast was amazing! We had the yellow room- the print was slightly obnoxious but not a problem at all. The best were incredibly comfy, they restocked all the personal hygiene products daily. Want to come back and stay in another room next time we visit 10/10

Interesting hotel and our room was astounding (we stayed in 102). Breakfast was a choice of Japanese or Western style, different every day and served on a large wooden platter. The hotel is opposite the Imperial Palace Gardens, we'll situated for busses into the city center or the subway for trips further afield. The staff were helpful and friendly but we didn't see many of them. The hotel has a strange layout, you enter at street level into a huge atrium and there's a desk but nobody was ever at it - you had to go down the stairs to another desk - and this wasn't always staffed so most of the time we just went in and out without encountering anyone. The hotel advertises a bar but forget about having a relaxing drink on the roof terrace when you get back at the end of the day - the bar was never open.
