“This hotel took us by surprised. The ambiance of this hotel were amazing and the steak house was just out of this world Such a classy and elegant decor in a small Alabama town was great. The only thing that disappointed us was the pool. It just didn’t flow with the elegance of the hotel It was really a rundown pool They definitely have to upgrade the pool area so it goes with the flow of the hotel”

“I love this place, it’s older but has a lot of old-world charm and character. Don’t expect a Ritz-Carlton experience and you won’t be disappointed. Great location for a quick walk over to Daphne Street for some music and a cold beer. I stay here every time I drive to Florida, never been disappointed!”

“Upon check-in, we did not get the 2 room types we reserved which were 2 queens in each and to compromise, we were given a 3rd room. But all rooms were single bed with pullout bed and not close to each other. This required my family to completely split up and wife and I to separate along with the kids. This caused a big inconvenience as we share toiletries, food, etc.”

“Pool was closed. Room was very dated and carpet was dirty. Will not stay here again”

“Horrible, had 2 rooms both smelled like mold. Mold was visible on ceiling and on bathroom wall, bath tub. Comforters were dirt. Sheets appeared soiled-stains. No soap in bathrooms - asked front desk for some and was told he has no access to housekeeping and no soap in office- he did look around - no luck. Did not stay at location- returned keys and hopefully get my money back.”
