The Hartman Rock Garden is most definitely a unique roadside attraction.

What started in 1932 by Ben Hartman as a concrete fishing pond, expanded into an entire mini world using thousands of stones, a myriad of plants, handmade figurines and one hell of an imagination.

After Ben's passing in 1944, his widow, Mary took over his labor of love until her passing in 1997.

The garden began to succumb to neglect but was renovated in 2009 and is now open and free for visitors every day.
