Opened on May 1st 1891 with Cy Young on the mound, Cleveland's League Park was off to a great start.

290 feet down the first base line and over a wall taller than Boston's Green Monster, Babe Ruth hit his 500th home run on August 11th 1929.

The original wooden ticket office and stands are gone. The corner building and a lone wall remain from the second iteration of brick.

The major leaguers may have moved downtown, but this field still boosts some pretty important baseball.
