The staff was friendly when we arrived (I’m sorry I spooked the poor night clerk!), and our room was clean and comfortable. This was NOT “breakfast” , this didn’t even meet criteria for continental breakfast. No tv in breakfast area or music, dim lighting. Staging area for hvac renovations really? “Hotel” also tried to charge my card prior to my checking in when I elected for “pay at property”! That’s a contractual breach to begin with and the excuse from the front desk person “we do it to know who’s going to actually show-up to make sure we have enough rooms”…… parking lot was virtually empty. No heavy blanket on bed in room. Heater was set at 60 upon arrival and room was freezing. Only 2 pillows on a king size bed for 2 people. Unless you get a room in the main building, the door doesn’t connect to an interior hallway but directly outside like a motel. It’s like someone bought a run down motel and want it to be listed as a Days Inn when it would take A LOT of renovations and improvements across the board to meet the typical quality for a Days Inn.
