“The sheets and towels appeared to be clean, but the floor was filthy. I had to clean it with a towel after checking in. Shower dribbled like a septuagenarian with prostate issues. Water, what little there was, was hot, so I could was. Noisy neighbor, but that’s not the hotel’s fault, other than this price range brings in a higher percentage of riff-raff.”

“We left after stripping the beds to find all types of stains (my friend thought he got bit by a bedbug, we didnt find any). Some obviously blood some obviously fecal. Also they were small and uncomfortable. The “blankets” were thinner than my sheets at home. I asked for couple of extra pillows and was told they only had 1 spare. The toilet seat did not fit the toilet. The breakfast? Definitely not continental.”

“I literally don’t know what to start with omg. Front desk was incredibly rude and complained about how much he hated his job, and gave me zero information about the hotel. THEN my room is covered in nut stains. Cigarette residue everywhere. Crumbs everywhere. Dead bugs all over the floor. The bed sheets has clearly not been cleaned or changed. The lock on the door wouldn’t work properly. THEN when i called expedia and tried to cancel my room and get my money back I had to talk to AI bots for……

“The room we got was terrible made me just want to sleep on the car.We spoke to management and gave us a good room.It was good for what we paid.”

“Nice clean room. Renovated. Bathroom was well stocked with an excellent shower with great waterpressure. Breakfast was plentiful and well stocked. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good AC which kept the room at a very comfortable temperature. Only suggestion is maybe an additional trash container.”

“This place is HORRIBLE!!!! The room was dirty and smelled of smoke. The floor needed to be vacuumed and we were offered a vacuum to do it ourself. The refrigerator didn’t work. From the moment we got into the room my elderly grandmother was coughing and couldn’t stop until we checked out and left. We were in the room for 15 mins and checked out!!! Thankfully we were refunded all of our money so we could find somewhere else to stay.”

“I’ve used truckstop bathrooms that were cleaner in the bathroom that we had in our room! That’s not even the worst part, the carpets need to be desperately changed. The entire room smelled of urine. It was difficult for us to even stay in the room. I would’ve left immediately but the entire town of Sandusky had been booked up. I will never say this hotel ever again. I am warning all of those who look for cleanliness, this is not the place.”

“We stayed here for 8 days. The hotel staff, restaurant food and spacious lobby, room space, comfortable pillows and beds... were all great. Very close to Oberlin College, great location!!”

“Clean room, excellent breakfast choices—best I’ve seen in a while. Check in lady was VERY GOOD about keeping my room number and information secure from being overheard by the man in line behind me. One real problem. The window in my 1st floor room was UNLOCKED upon arrival. This is SO unsafe. Someone could already have been inside, or someone could have entered during my stay, if I had not checked this. This safety issue should be engrained in every motel/hotel—always ensure that windows are……
