Nothing I "discovered". Just thought y'all would enjoy the sunrise on the lake where we live.

This historic park dates back to the early 1800s when then first settlers to the area arrived. It features the what is said is the worlds largest man made waterfall and a fountain dedicated to Princess Im-Mi-Ah-Key wife of Chickasaw Indian chief Tuscumbia for whom the town is named.

Oka Kapassa is a special Native American gathering that is held here and is dedicated to celebrating the culture and traditions of American Indians who once thrived in Alabama. The gathering is a coming home of sorts for the tribes that were forcibly removed from their homes in the Southeast. There's also a stature that reflects the Indians forced March to the west called "Sacred Tears, The Exit to the West."

Funny how you drive along and all of a sudden there's an old vehicle just left where it last stopped. Love anything old.
