“This is a nice hotel. It’s a bit older, but I stayed in the refurbished, train-themed room. Everything is nice, I just wish the room had more power outlets and an iron & ironing board. Breakfast was just a waffle iron and coffee, but you can find breakfast locally.”

“This place smelled like mold and the bed felt wet. I was very hard to sleep in that condition. It doesn’t look like much is kept up on the property and definitely is in need of expensive remodeling. The towels and wash clothes were in stained and dingy looking. It’s unfortunate because attached to the hotel is a bar restaurant and the food is amazing, the drinks are great, and the owner and employees of the bar restaurant are super friendly and beyond accommodating.”

“If it had not been due to having to cancel our original hotel due to a computer outage, we would not have chosen the Ottawa Inn. It is an older property and has not been maintained. The pool and breakfast area have both been closed for who knows how long. The bathroom sink and shower diverter were both difficult to operate and the toilet leaked around the base indicating the seal was bad. Getting someone too the desk was not easy. Even with the pool out of service it is the first thing displayed...

“We saw multiple mice during our three-day stay. When we contacted the host, he said this happens and he already knew about it, and there was poison in the kitchen. He never apologized or offered to make it right. We ended up leaving early due to the number of mice that we saw. The house was also left unlocked for multiple hours before we checked in with keys visible on the counter. We did not feel safe or comfortable staying in this property. “The host was excellent, very nice little cottage on the lake. Amenities were set up very well, the description was exactly what it was. Very happy customer! ”

“Host was very welcoming. Place was nice. Only issue is you weren't able to park by the dooe to load and unload your stuff. Had to park by the road. It wasn't a far walk however for some on that has hip issues it was to far.”
