Open from 8 am - 4 pm during the week, the Living History Museum teaches visitors about Yap's colorful culture. Classes in navigation and traditional handicrafts are also taught here.

A traditional Yapese lava-lava skirt hand woven on a loom. The skirts are made and worn predominantly by the outer island women. Originally the skirts were made from dyed hibiscus fiber, but today they are woven using brightly colored modern materials. #yap #culture
