Colrain Vacations

Colrain is located approximately 40 miles (64 kilometers) away from Springfield and 65 miles (105 kilometers) from Manchester.

Try not to limit yourself to Colrain, because the wider region has been blessed with an abundance man-made and natural attractions waiting to be explored. Jacksonville, is 11 miles (18 kilometers) to the southeast. Here you can see the Honora Winery and Jacksonville Pond.

Amherst is about 25 miles (40 kilometers) from Colrain. This regional center has a great selection of tourist attractions, including Emily Dickinson Museum, Mount Norwottuck and University of Massachussets-Amherst. Mullins Center and Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art are also good spots for a visit while you are in Amherst.

If you are after things to do inside, head to Western Massachusetts' excellent history museums. These are great spots to soak up some of the local culture and find a unique gift or two.

Western Massachusetts offers some excellent ways to get into its unique landscapes. Those with a love of adventure can enquire about one of the hiking and mountain biking experiences on offer.

For those who intend on traveling by plane, it's good to remember that the handiest major airport is Bradley International Airport, 50 miles (80 kilometers) to the south of Colrain.
