We never received a check-in email with instructions. We ended up stranded outside in the cold for over an hour. Another guest was also stuck outside with us. We tried calling every number listed - they finally answered after calling over 30 times. The kitchen area was very dirty. There was tons of old rotten food in the fridges. Some of it not even covered. Didn’t feel comfortable eating breakfast there. The room was super hot, even with the windows open had a hard time sleeping. Would not recommend.

I was given a code to get in the front door and my room. I didn't need them because I pushed on the door and it opened without resistance and I walked right in. I then worried that anyone off the street would walk right in. On the way out in the morning, someone was sleeping on the couch. Who knows where they came from.

Everyone was incredibly nice. The location is very clean. It's cozy and feels like you're staying at a friend's house. It's also near all the fun stuff to do in the city.

A magical little haven in a safe part of town
The Wayfare Buckeye is truly one of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed at so far. Robbie is so helpful and considerate. The advice he gave for things to do was totally on point. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food provided was delicious, and overall I felt nothing but safe while staying there. The showers, bathrooms, and the room itself was very clean. I loved that towels were provided, that’s sometimes rare for hostels. While I didn’t use a bike, the fact they were provided is super cool. The area itself is very walkable, there are plenty of bars nearby, and it’s only a 30 minute walk from OSU (20 from High St)! I would definitely stay again.
