Very cool hike with a 200 foot waterfall at the end .. the hike is different than most because on the way there you're dropping elevation and it's mostly down hill. The way back takes a bit longer since you're going all up hill. Wear good hiking sneakers. Bring plenty of water especially for the hike back. Follow the trail. Don't try to take any short cuts cuz they aren't short cuts I promise haha

"We were only here for one night to attend a concert at Thunder Ridge; we will be back. The property is secluded and has rustic charm. The host is super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Be warned, the story behind the castle will tug at your heartstrings. The area is a certified black sky site, so on a clear night you can see so much. It's great for astrophotography. The next time we visit, we'll be sure to take advantage of all the property has to offer (hiking trails, games, a great outdoor area, etc). "
