“Cool location in town! We enjoyed visiting nearby antique shops, museum, coffee shop, and diners. I loved the front porch sitting. It was a short drive to historic Harpers Ferry. The kids enjoyed the games and books. The beds were super comfy. The bedding was clean and soft. I slept well, even though you can hear the trains working through the night. That added to the charm. The bathroom was gorgeous with exposed bricks and the shower had a rain shower head! Kim and Todd were excellent hosts. ”

“A very comfortable and quiet place to stay. Nice neighborhood for an evening walk.”

“The unit is in the basement of a beautiful single family home. The unit is accessed by going through the living room and going down the steps with no separate door for the unit. The kitchen is a shared space. The laundry is shared and accessed by by going through the basement space. There are 3 electric recliners and a projection screen TV. The sofa opens into a bed (no mattress). The unit would be best for someone who is comfortable with shared space.”

“We had 6 in our group and it was perfect especially for the price. Super clean, great responsive host, good location. Bakery directly across the street and ice cream and sandwich shop just down the road at the light. Will definitely stay here again. ”

“Really cool historic cabin! Close to the Middletown main street. Me and my wife cooked in the cabin just about every night, pots plates and silverware stocked. Gas fireplace was powerful and heated the whole cabin easily on cold nights. Great antiques items scattered around the cabin. Was very quiet and a great place to be. Nearby attractions that were cool to see were the original Washington Monument and Surrybrook gardens - beautiful place to stroll around. Frederick was not far - awesome……

“My host was very attentive when questions were asked she answered promptly The amenities were exceptional she had anything and everything you could need like a washing machine dryer dishwasher from toiletries to baby care needs to even pet accommodations the place was immaculate inside and out there is also a spacious backyard as well everything is on one level so there’s no up and down stairs I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel at home when I’m in Virginia again I hope to……

“Host was welcoming and helpful. Responded quickly to bringing salt for freezing/ice on the steps. Had minor issues with backyard not being fully fenced in or access to a porch light for cleaning up poop. Bath and toiletries are available and well labeled, however brands/scents aren't labeled. I'm allergic to lavender so I couldn't risk using any. ”

“What a great place in a perfect location in a fun walkable beautiful town. Even though the place is dog friendly, it had no trace of dog odors. Also, parking was great. Park your car and only get back in it to depart town. Hope to return soon.”
