“The Squirrel Haven Cottage was an absolute delight for our needs! We were on a return trip from Georgia, and Lake Norman was conveniently located halfway between us. When I booked this cottage, I completely overlooked the fact that it was only suitable for two people. My mistake, as the listing clearly states. Fortunately, we managed to fit a queen air mattress in the living room, which was a great solution for our kids. Scott, the host, was incredibly accommodating and didn’t mind that we had……

“Very nice property, loved my stay. Host even left us a bottle of wine for our anniversary. Only negative was there was a 1500 deposit required that wasn't mentioned anywhere (as far as I can tell) until I went to make the second payment, whoch was not a great surprise. ”

“We rented this home for my son’s wedding. The groomsmen and dates stayed here. The house was large enough for them to all be comfortable and close enough to Hickory for the wedding. The game room was a big hit. Had it been warmer and they had more time, they would have taken advantage of the lakefront. The hosts were so attentive to make sure our stay was comfortable and stress free. Highly recommend this home and Flying Squirrel!”
