Not really on much of an island but convenient large mall nearby. IKEA across the road for affordable and tasty food. Lots of kids (soccer tournament) so it was busy/noisy. A little outside the downtown but a solid place to stay.

Copenhagen Island Hotel is in a pretty great location not far from the city centre. The train is right next to the hotel, which makes it easy to get anywhere. The city is very walkable and pedestrian-friendly. The hotel room was clean and well soundproofed. The beds were comfortable. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made our stay pleasant. Try to get a room with a balcony facing the water.

there needs to be access to good coffee as this is Europe! Instant is unacceptable and we didn't always pay for breakfast. This is not acceptable for a 4 star hotel that cost $300 a night. Alejandro on your breakfast staff is super great man! You are lucky to have him. Recommend cleaning room every other day and not putting responsibility on guests. I am on vacation and coordinating cleaining is not on my vacation to do list.

Found this hotel to be clean, staff helpful and friendly and breakfast good variety. Slept very well as bed comfy and area nice and quiet. Hotel is walkable to most sights. Would recommend hiring the bikes from hotel as easy to ride around the city. We especially enjoyed our view of the harbour from our room.

Easy check in and check out, spacious room with harbour view, comfortable bed and friendly staff. However, we have stayed at Copenhagen Island many times over the past 10 years and it really felt like the hotel is in need of some TLC. We also didn't like the change in policy requiring you to request for your room to be serviced. That said, we had a lovely stay and the location is so convenient, we would still recommend the hotel to others.
