“Arriving the front door was broken and didn't fit well. Toilet sitting outside in the back corner of the lot. Kitchen oven was filthy. Looks like projects were started to modernize the house but was slapped together at the last minute. Painted some rooms with stuff on the walls and paint had dripped on the speakers in the corners, glass lampshades in the bathroom, paint on cloth covered chair and leather chair. Had to step up to the spare bathroon, the vanity was short and in the bathroom...

“Beautiful property in downtown. Close to nightlife entertainment, day time restaurants. Host is very helpful and responsive. Parking was the only problem, because of the club a few doors down. It may not be the same issue during the week.”

“This little Barndominium was the perfect place for my & my daughter’s stay while attending the Pentecostal Youth conference.It is very quaint, cozy, in a very nice quiet neighborhood; it would actually be very nice for a romantic getaway for a couple, or even just a sabbatical for an individual.We really enjoyed ourselves and Chris was very accommodating and quick with responding when the need arose. “This rental will not disappoint. It was pricey for just our group of 6, but our stay was delightful. The house is even better in person. Everything was beautiful and well-maintained. We enjoyed the kayaks, the fire pits, the game room, and walking the grounds. We would love to return if the opportunity arises.”

“I killed so many spiders and bugs in this home. They need to provide a garage opener or a key pad at the garage area. You park by the garage and walk around the front of the house. This is very inconvenient. The mattress are very uncomfortable. Would not recommend ”

When we had an issue, Isaac responded very quickly and everything was resolved. “The house was very spacious and the AC worked great. It was pretty no frills compared to others we've stayed in but it served its purpose. We would stay again for sure. ”

“This was a great house with everything we needed. It was beautifully decorated and had a great front porch with ample seating. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms had plenty of towels. There's a nightclub on the next street and the music was really loud well into the night. So this house might be better for night owls rather than early risers. I would stay there again if I were in the area.”

“Incredible remodel! The home was very thoughtfully designed. Everything was exactly as pictured. Definitely recommend. Pros: Very clean. Newly renovated. Everything was new and in perfect condition. Well stocked kitchen. Free snacks were a plus! Very close to JSU and easy access to the main highways to get around the city and into the local suburbs. The neighborhood was quiet and typical of any city block. Security system was great. Cons: Outlet nearest bed in primary bedroom inaccessible...

“We got to the address in a sketchy neighborhood, with 2 empty houses on either side of the property. Upon opening the door, the carbon monoxide alarm was going off. Within minutes of our arrival, both myself and my sister had headaches. I attempted to contact the landlord several times and could not leave a message as the phone mailbox was full. Run from this house it is a health and safety hazard!”

"The first room they put us in was dirty. Both beds had dirty sheets - hairs in both of them. The bathroom was faulty. The whole place didn't feel good at all. Don't recommend. "
