“This hotel was very bright and cheery! The lobby was full of light and exceptionally clean and the layout was very well organized. My room was also very clean and everything worked well including the TV, mini-fridge and the water pressure was great. The bed was very comfortable and the whole room felt new and exceptionally clean. The color scheme of the whole hotel is very pleasing and calming after a long day. The front lobby had snacks to purchase for a decent price and the breakfast included……

“Very nice place, only thing I can say that’s negative, is they didn’t have just regular black tea on the breakfast buffet, only spiced tea bags. I don’t drink coffee, sooo with no tea with caffeine really put a damper on my morning wake up mood…..met a couple more people in the dining room wanting just regular black tea without all that fancy additives, when I asked the front desk they said they just buy whatever from Walmart and till it’s gone they won’t purchase anymore….hello doesn’t that……

“It was understaffed. Only 1 person at registration counter, only 1 at snack bar, only 1 at casino drink counter, resulting in serious delays. Dining options were limited. Gaming options were limited. But the view of the river was very good from outside and from our 5th floor room.”

“We reserved a King Room with River View through Expedia and upon arrival was informed that there were no River View rooms available. The front desk clerk told us to always call the hotel direct when booking through a third party. We had checked the hotel's website and the River View rooms were available, so we booked. We did accept a City View room with 2 Queen beds. Once in the room quickly discovered the room had recently been smoked in. We can accept the disappointment of not having a room……

“If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The property is just beautiful, clean, the furniture and home decor is so beautifully done, all antiques and timeless pieces. Bed was super comfy. But the star of the show is LaTonya. She was so welcoming, accommodating, helpful, she goes above and beyond to make your stay a wonderful experience. The breakfasts were delicious too! We will most definitely be back on our way to/from Auburn when we visit our daughter! Also, within walking distance……
