“The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was excellent. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but overall the experience was very positive.”

“Check-in quick and easy and staff member polite and welcoming. Room adequate and en-suite modern with good warm shower. Twin beds were quite small to accommodate size of room. Overall okay location to stay for a night or so but no cooked breakfast( continental available) was not ideal. ”

“When booked it says take blanket&pillow case?no need bedding is included.. Shared bathroom clean&tidy. After 10.30 gets really loud with jukebox,on a main road..if you a light sleeper this is no good.but i enjoyed my stay it was for one night..breakfast was excellent! Cereals toast and a full English was excellent for my journey I would definitely stay again if was down that end..very impressive. ”

“Breakfast is good. Jacuzzi & Sauna is nice although I can imagine that this can be too small and limited on a busy season. Gym equipments is just enough for someone who don't really want to skip a day in a gym.”

“Lovely pub with nice spacious and clean rooms. Good offering of food and drink, fresh breakfast cooked to order and lot of optional add ons like yoghurts, cereal, selection of juices. Overall great experience for a competitively priced room. Car park had plenty of spaces too”

“Darren at reception was really lovely, the lady who served us breakfast in the morning was very lovely and accommodating. The hotel dog ran up to us barking as we were leaving, which was a bit alarming. The bedroom was simple and clean. Unfortunately the hotel has an awful smell, even in the bedrooms, like damp or mouldy carpets. A bee was in our room, luckily my husband was able to get it out. I appreciate it is an old historic building, but a deep clean and refresh of the carpets might help.”
