Enjoy your Outer Banks vacation here in this 4 bedroom home on Corolla's unique 4x4 Beaches which offers breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable views. You can sit and watch the sunrise in the distance or go up to the crows nest and watch the sunset over the sound with a glass of wine. Enjoy your day playing by the private pool (May 1 to October 1) relaxing on the screened in porch or walking the wide beaches.
The Corolla Wild Horses frequent the property and surrounding areas, so you can see the horses gaze from the comfort of the large deck.

The upper level is an open floor plan with beautiful natural light. This level you will find the fully stocked kitchen complete with an island for extra counter and prep space. The large living room provides an excellent place to relax or socialize. There is a dining area for those sit down meals and a spacious screened in porch.
This floor also holds a primary suite with deck access and a full bathroom.
There is a half bath for guest on the landing between the top and middle floors.

On the middle level, you will find an additional primary suite, two additional bedrooms, along with a full hall bathroom. The hot tub is located on the middle deck and is accessible from all these bedrooms.

The lower level has a pool and outside shower with hot and cold water to rinse off after a fun filled day. There are a variety of pool items as well as beach chairs for your use during your stay.

Nice, but not a fan
House was amazing. Just what a family needs. Getting to and from the main road is another story. Having to leave air out of your tires and then putting air back in your tires each time you have to go on the main road is a hassle. Also watching the tide schedule is important. You can’t just jump in your vehicle and go somewhere. You have to have a plan. Plus it’s not just you on the sand. We wanted to try it. Sooo now… been there, done that, don’t need to go back.

Great vacation
The property shows as listed. There were 6 of us staying with plenty of room for hanging out. The pool was a great benefit. It was incredibly warm. We saw the horses eating across from the house. They were magnificent. The only minor complaint I would have is the dishwasher was not working. There was a note sitting on the counter stating not to use it. I had to reach out to Michelle about something else, again very minor. Even though what I told her was only an FYI that didn't require immediate attention Michelle responded within a few minutes. I would stay here again.

What a beautiful home better than pictures!!! Loved outside shower! Pool and hot tub were great too! Loved how stocked the kitchen was… spices Tupperware pots pans silverware plates glasses…extra blankets . Not needed!! Loved being outside in morning saw horses everyday. Loved driving on beach scary at first very scary at night! Michelle, the owner wuicly responded to my annoying crazy questions!!! Highly recommend .

Amazing vacation!
This property was amazing! A beautiful house on the 4x4 beach. We drove on the beach everyday. We took the hosts recommendations to make sure to air down tires and had no problems. In the evenings we would take a quick 2 minute walk to the ocean front. Everything was as pictured on Vrbo and we saw the horses everyday. Will definitely be back! Thank you Michelle for a wonderful vacation.

Family Vacation
The house was lovely. Very well maintained and the kitchen was exceptionally stocked compared to other rentals. My husband loved the selection of books all over the house. The surroundings outside were beautiful with lots of horse and dragonfly sightings. The evenings outside were not enjoyable unless there was a steady breeze. The proximity to the wooded area made evenings quite buggy. Even with bug spray several members of our group were covered in bites. We spent most of our days in the pool, which we enjoyed immensely. There was nice seating and rafts available for use. There were about 6 beach chairs under the house for use and the outdoor shower was one of the nicest we have encountered. The grill is an old park style grill so be sure to bring aluminum foil, charcoal, and a lighter. Someone has left a tiny tabletop grill outside which is what we ended up using because it was in better shape than the full size grill. The 4 teenagers loved the 4x4 aspect of the beach, the adults who would have had to pay for towing and car damages didn’t love it quite as much. Thankfully neither were an issue. Overall the area, house, and experience were great. It was nice to have our family together for the first time in 4 years.

Great house with amazing amenities considering the location. Beach driving was fun and much easier than we anticipated. Enough civilization close to keep everyone happy. Pool, hot tub and beach were all nice. Kitchen has most of what you need. We would definitely go back!

Amazing!
Had an amazing time. Didnt get much site seeing because the beach was amazing and didnt want to go anywhere else! The house was great! Clean, had little things that helped alot!...foil, salt, pepper, etc. The beach driving is something everyone needs to experience! Was hesitant, but was super fun once we figured it out! Rented pick up trucks.....they told us both were 4x4, but one was not. Easy peasy with Ram 4x4....our F150 was not 4x4, but had trail mode. Pretty sure that was our only saving grace! It was rough and could not go up some of the dunes, but we found an easier trail to the house! I will say, arriving after midnight....close to high tide.....kinda scary!! Even the cops we ran into were a little turned around. Plan better than I did!! Overall, nothing to complain about! We cannot wait to come back!!

Beautiful home and views
The home was very spacious for our family and was very clean and was allowed to check in early. Disappointed that there was not a solar heating cover to heat the pool like mentioned in description so the water was freezing. We also had a weird encounter with the hot tub with some type of intermittent ground issue that we weren’t able to use the hot tub the last day of our stay. The horses never came to the house that we seen but the kids loved looking for them. I was not a fan of the 4x4 beach driving. Lol

Our favorite beach house ever
This was our second stay in Michelle’s beautiful beach home. We loved it just as much the second time as we did the first. Michelle is the most gracious host and made us feel so at home. She does so many little things that are so thoughtful and kind. The weather didn’t cooperate for us the week we were there, but we all said multiple times that if we had to be stuck inside or by the pool at least it was in this beautiful house. We even got to see the Banker Horses’ new foal right in the backyard. Cannot recommend this home enough!

We love this house!
The best vacation on the most perfect beach in the most beautiful house. We love the layout of the house, the gorgeous decor, the private secluded location with the preserve behind, the pool for the kids, the accessibility to the beach. This house had it all. We saw horses every day. We can’t wait to go back.

Unique OBX experience
We were so excited to experience Outer Banks for the first time. Staying in Corolla was such a unique beach experience… with the driving in the sand ( lil’ nerve wracking, but if you have the right car you’re all good), the wild horses were such a treat to see every day, and the peacefulness of the area was great. The house is very nice! The spacious floor plan was perfect for our family. The interior was very pretty & everyone quickly felt comfortable there. The kids loved the pool, we spent all our days poolside. That was key- having our own pool to hang out at! My 2 favorite parts of the day started with coffee outside on the peaceful deck & ending with beautiful sunsets up top on the crows nest. We really enjoyed staying here.

Awesome house for our family vacation! Great location, beautiful wildlife and beach! Communication was so easy and quick with the owner. It was also so nice to have a pool and hot tub at the house to enjoy! The week went by fast and we miss it already!

Nice house but things to know..
Bring your own toilet paper. Every house we have ever rented and it's been a lot over 25+ years has ALWAYS had the first FULL roll of toilet paper in all bathrooms. This house just has whatever was left over from the previous guests and ours didn’t leave much. This wasn’t fun to find out at Midnight when we arrived. Cleanliness Issues: 1. Dishwasher was completely full when we arrived. 2. Dirty dish towels and a mattress pad were left in the washer. 3. Fingerprints all over some of the sliding doors. 4. My 1 y/o granddaughter found lots of rainbow loom rubber bands on the rugs in the living room and dining room to put in her mouth. So one can only assume the rugs aren’t getting vacuumed. 5. Spiderwebs everywhere. 6. Shower floors could use a better cleaning. Looked like mold starting to grow in master bathroom. Water Issues: 1. I don't believe the water to be drinkable. 2. Horrible sulfur smell when you turn on water. 3. All of our white/light colored clothes and linens are stained a nice rusty orange/brownish color. Hopefully we’ll be able to get those staines out.. Looks like another reviewer was able to with bleach/Oxiclean. When I mentioned the above to the owner she said they have a water system on the house and someone was supposed to be out that day for service and he’s supposed to come every two weeks. We never saw anyone and the problem was never fixed while we were there. These things aside we enjoyed our time at this house. We loved the area and enjoyed spending time with our family. It would have been nice if the house had a cooler (we left the one we picked up at food loin) and umbrella to take to the beach but the beach chairs were nice to have.

Beautiful Home!
Beautiful Home! It was nice to all have our own space having 3 nice size bedrooms and baths. We enjoyed the pool in the late afternoon, the hot tub in the evenings, and spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Horses, deer, and rabbits were among the wildlife we saw as well as a snake crawling down the banister on our last day! Very private area! Our only concern was the water…it stained our light colored towels and clothing but most stains were able to be removed after several washings with OxiClean or bleach. You will need to bring drinking water, ice for drinks, dish soap, dishwasher supplies, paper towels, tissues and t-paper. The 4x4 experience was very unique and we are looking forward to doing it again!

This home was beautiful. Common space was enough for 10 people. The wrap around deck and porch added to this space. Has 4 bedrooms but one bedroom is really for smaller children. The top bunk and pull out trundle are small. Would visit again. Owner was very responsive to minor needs.

We visited this property and were impressed with how comfortable and new the house is. Beautifuly decorated and with all the amenities and gadgets that you will have at your own home. Loved the spacious kitchen and lots of storage. We saw the horses from the deck every day. The breeze is amazing and the kids enjoyed the pool. We loved the outdoor dining areas too. Happy that we experienced Corolla here!

Amazing Beach House
This house was absolutely beautiful!! The views are amazing! You can see the ocean and the sound. My entire family agreed this was the best beach house we have stayed in! The house is clean and has everything you need! The pool was perfect and so is the hot tub. I really can not say enough good things about our stay! The 4x4’s are an experience all in their own and we love the beaches out there. We saw the wild horses every day. Michelle was great and answered all questions we had. I absolutely recommend this house!

A Hidden Gem, Peaceful!
The house is REALLY NICE. The description does not state it but the property is only a few years old, per the neighbor. Everything was fresh and clean. Nothing is worn. Kitchen is well equipped. Coffee maker, Keurig, 4 slice toaster, and everything else a standard kitchen would have. The upper level is an open floor plan. Kitchen, dining area and family room. Master suite with full bath and walk-in shower. A screened in table and chairs are also on this level. In addition, a deck facing the ocean is on this level. The lower level has 3 bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has an attached bath with walk-in shower. There is also a full bath off the hallway for the other two bedrooms. All bedrooms have access to the lower level deck via sliding door. Hot tub is on the deck on this level. There is a half bath between the upper and lower levels. View of the ocean is really good considering the house is a few rows back. You can see the ocean and a small part of the sound from the crows nest. Table and a couple of chairs up there. The best part of this house is the peace and quiet!!!!! You will be living on a sand dune for a week. No paved roads. The wild horses were in the yard one morning before we went to the beach. We saw the horses several times from the deck. There is very little light pollution in the area. On a clear night, and a new moon you can see the Milky Way with your naked eye. Go up in the crows nest, get a chair that reclines, face the ocean and look up, do not look at your phone! After about 30 minutes your eyes will adjust. Best to see around midnight. Again, do not look at any artificial light. Sending a pic to the owner hopefully she will add it to the pictures, You can hear the ocean from the decks. Pool is nice and there is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Highway 12 ends about 3 miles or so from this house you will need an all wheel drive vehicle to get to this house. You literally drive on the beach to get there. You will also need at least 8" of ground clearance on your vehicle. Some of the SUV's do not have the clearance. You can rent a Jeep on Turo.com. It takes about 15 minutes to get from the house to the paved road, Route 12. Getting to the beach is a breeze, just hop in your vehicle and grab a spot on the beach. You can park right on the beach. This is an experience, I would highly recommend you do this at least once!!! Good food in Corolla, NC Coast, Uncle Ike's, Mama Easley's, Corolla Pizza. Corolla Beer Garden
